Garage Conference 2004 - Off the hook!

Ended this Sunday night in Dallas Texas with the special edition of their weekly "Groovology". Overall it was a great first year and a success all around, barring one unfortunate injury on Saturday Night's Boat Cruise.

Artists who attended and performed included:

Dallas: Jason Mundo, Tiny MC, Mark J, Keith P
Boston: G Notorious, Elyte - Boston
Canada: Deep Six, DJ Pants, Phong
Minneapolis: natOsha
Baltimore: Light Touch
Chicago: Sushi

      Sorry T-Bird. This whole conference thing was something that Mundo and I dreamed up at Transatlantic at WMC this March. Since Dallas has bigger Garage crowds than Boston these days they got the location and took over with running the event. The planning and promotion was very rushed to get it done. This will be an annual event so I will be sure to help them get the word out in a bigger way next year. As far as I know, Mundo is not in fact on Tribe.

        weeks after i decide i'm not gonna go to miami,
        all these interesting parties start popping up.

        i'm glad they're still pulling people in dallas!
        i hadn't heard anything, so i thought it was dead--glad to be wrong!
